Apple Dumplings
- 2 Granny Smith Apples
- 2 cans of crescent rolls
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 12 oz. can of Mountain Dew (no diet)
Peel and core the apples. Cut each into 8 slices.
Wrap each apple in a slice of crescent roll and lay into a greased 9 x 13 pan.
In a small sauce pan, stir together over medium heat, butter, sugar and cinnamon until melted. Pour over rolls.
Pour Mountain Dew over rolls.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
