This is the email my mom sent me when I wanted this recipe. I left her comments because it makes me happy. 🙂
- 32 oz. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. in casserole
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- salt to taste
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 16 oz. carton sour cream
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes
Stir together in a large bowl, hash browns, 1/2 c. melted butter, onion, chicken soup, sour cream, salt and shredded cheese. Â Mix well.
Put potato mixture in 9×13 Pampered Chef baking dish.
Melt remaining 1/4 c. butter and mix it with 2 cups of crushed corn flakes. Â Spread evenly over top of potatoes.
Bake for 50 min to 1 hour in pre-heated 350 degree oven.
