Supplies
- 3 large or 6 small aluminum loaf pans
- Cooking spray
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour + 2 tbsp to flour pans
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups cooking oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. poppy seeds
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, almond, and butter extracts
Glaze
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla, almond, and butter extracts
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cup sugar
Combine ingredients and heat on stove until it boils and the sugar is dissolved.
Instructions
Grease AND flour loaf pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Beat all ingredients until smooth. Pour into loaf pans, 1/2 full for large loaf pans, 2/3 full for small pans.
Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out of the center clean. Cool in the pans.
Once cool, make your glaze and pour evenly over each loaf while glaze is still hot.
Let loaves cool for 1 hour before cutting to let glaze set.
